What you can expect

  • See a completely different side of Door County as you explore Sturgeon Bay by Segway. This fun guided ride combines waterfront views, historic neighborhoods, downtown streets, bridges and an up-close look at the city's impressive shipbuilding industry.

After individual Segway training, glide across the historic Steel Bridge and explore both sides of Sturgeon Bay. Along the way, see the Bay Shipbuilding shipyard, Graham Park, downtown, Big Hill Park and the Louisiana Street Historic District.

Your local guide shares stories about the canal, the city's bridges and the shipbuilding industry that continues to shape Sturgeon Bay today. You'll also discover how the communities once known as Sawyer and Sturgeon Bay grew together into the city you see today.

The Segway is part of the fun. You'll cover far more of the city than you could comfortably see on foot, with stops for scenery, stories and photos along the way.

New to Segways? Most guests are. Your guide provides individual training before the tour so you have time to get comfortable before heading out.

⭐ “Even as a local, I learned so much! Seeing the city by Segway is a totally different experience.” – Jim E., WI (TripAdvisor)

It's the only city Segway tour in Door County and a fun way to experience the working, waterfront side of the peninsula.
