What you can expect
Walk Stockholm's historic core on foot, then see it from the water on a 100% electric boat that gets closer to the city than any other vessel.
PART 1 – OLD TOWN WALKING TOUR (2 hours)
Meet your guide at the Swedish Parliament and spend two hours on foot in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's medieval island. The route covers Riddarholmen's waterfront, cobblestone alleys, Stortorget square, the Royal Palace, and Stockholm Cathedral. Your guide covers Swedish history from Viking times to the present, with stories tied to the specific streets you're walking rather than a generic script.
At the end of the walking tour, your guide walks you directly to the boat and shows you where to board at Skeppsbron. You'll have a short wait before departure, so plan to be there at least 10 minutes early.
PART 2 – SILENT ELECTRIC BOAT CRUISE (1 hour)
Board next to the statue of Gustav III on Skeppsbron. The boat carries a maximum of 34 passengers and runs entirely on electricity, so there is no engine noise and no fumes. Its open design and low profile let it pass under bridges and through narrow canals that rule out larger sightseeing boats.
The route takes you past the Parliament building from the water, along Djurgarden and Ostermalm, and through stretches of Stockholm that most visitors only see from a distance. Blankets and cushions are available on board.
