What you can expect

Join the Blue Line Historical Tour and experience some of the most important cultural and historical sites in Dalmatia with experienced local guide.
This full-day tour starts in Split and takes you on a panoramic bus ride with audio commentary available in 10 languages and experienced local guide who leads you through different destination stops.

The first stop is the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir, known for its well-preserved medieval streets, Romanesque and Gothic architecture, and beautiful waterfront promenade. You will have time to explore the charming old town on your own.

Next, you will visit Salona, once the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. Walk through the impressive ruins, including the ancient amphitheater, basilicas, city walls, and early Christian burial sites.

After Salona, the tour continues to Olive Museum, where you can taste authentic Dalmatian olive oil, traditional sweets, and learn about local crafts and traditions in a beautiful countryside setting.

The tour then takes you to Klis Fortress, a spectacular medieval fortress perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views over Split and the surrounding islands. Fans of Game of Thrones will recognize this fortress from the series.

Finally, upon returning to Split, you will enjoy a guided walking tour through the old town, including Diocletian's Palace, one of the most remarkable Roman monuments in the world.

The tour includes transportation with an open-top sightseeing bus, live guide, audio commentary, insurance, and VAT. Entry tickets to Salona, Stella Croatica, and Klis Fortress are not included and can be purchased on the spot (approximately 16–19 EUR in total).

This is the perfect way to explore the highlights of Dalmatia in one day, combining history, nature, and local culture.
