What you can expect

    1. Welcome and introduction
      Your French-speaking guide, a certified mountain tour leader, will welcome you in the vicinity of Leknes or Svolvær. After an introduction to the route and the surrounding landscapes, you will be given your gear and a safety briefing. The activity starts and ends at the same meeting point.

    2. Gear and preparation
      You will be provided with suitable snowshoes and poles, along with a simple explanation of how to use them. A few technical and practical tips will allow you to set off with confidence and make the most of the hike.

    3. Snowshoe hiking tour
      You will then set off on a hiking tour of approximately 4 hours, at the pace of the group, through spectacular snowy landscapes. Several stops are planned to admire the panoramas, listen to cultural anecdotes and discover the local nature through the informative explanations of your guide.

    4. Drop-off and convivial moment
      The loop ends at the starting point. To round off the experience, you'll share a convivial moment over a drink, giving you the opportunity to discuss your impressions and ask your final questions.
