What you can expect

  • The incredible aquatic world of the Sea of Cortez is yours to explore on this voyage out along the Baja California coast. Check out the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas from the sea and dive in for a snorkeling excursion that surrounds you with marine creatures and spectacular scenes.

    After a ride from your hotel, a glass-bottomed boat carries you out into the Gulf of California, home to the vibrant waters that Jacques Cousteau described as the aquarium of the world. When you arrive at Lands End, where the stone outcrop of the Arch reaches out into the water from the peninsula's tip, you can don your snorkeling gear and get in the water at nearby Pelican's Rock and Lover's Beach.

    The adventure puts you face-to-face with a great variety of tropical fish, from angelfish, Mexican hogfish, and purple surgeonfish to spotted porcupine fish and balloonfish. Complete with some time on the beach to relax and explore the coast, you get plenty of time to enjoy the sights of the beautiful coast.
