Meet the guide in front of Shibuya Hachiko. The statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog, has become a symbol of Shibuya, Tokyo. The model for the statue is the Akita dog "Hachi," which is well known to everyone. Hachiko was later called "Loyal Dog" because he waited for his owner, Dr. Eizaburo Ueno, a professor at Tokyo Imperial University, at Shibuya Station and remained loyal to him.
