What you can expect

See endangered wildlife up close on a half-day tour from Sandakan. Visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre to watch rescued orangutans in their natural habitat, especially during feeding times. Explore the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see the world's smallest bears in a safe environment.

Be picked up from your hotel in Sandakan and drive approximately 40 minutes to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. After registration, proceed to the Outdoor Nursery for a closer look at the younger orangutans.

Head to the Feeding Platform to witness the feeding of orangutans. If time permits, watch the scheduled video program about the orangutan at the Nature Education Centre, and pay a visit to the Exhibition Hall.

After Sepilok, take a leisurely walk to the nearby Sun Bear Conservation Centre to see the world’s smallest bear in its natural environment. After the tour, depart Sepilok and return to Sandakan, and transfer back to your hotel.
