  • Concerts takes place in the Orangery. It may be held in the Great Gallery, or the White Gold Room of the palace.
  • Concerts November–March are performed by a smaller ensemble; the full orchestra performs April–October only.
  • Admission starts 30 minutes prior to the show start time.
  • Opening hours of the ticket office are from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM in the Orangery
  • Concert duration is 1.5 hours with intermission.
  • Opening hours of the box office is from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the concert location

Since the time of the legendary Habsburg dynasty, the palace has been the location of choice for musical activities. It even housed the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart himself. Here was the setting of the premiere of the masterpiece The Impresario.

The world-renowned Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra and Ensemble perform the most beautiful works of Mozart and another famous Austrian composer, Johann Strauss. Sit back and revel in the famous arias and duets from operas like Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflote, and Don Giovanni. The orchestra, tastefully accompanied by 2 opera singers, brings the musical evening to a close with beloved arias and waltzes like “Die Fledermaus” and “The Blue Danube.”
