Ready to cook like a true Romanian? Join us just outside Brașov for a warm and hands-on culinary experience where you’ll learn, step by step, how to prepare sarmale, Romania’s beloved cabbage rolls. Guided by my mom (a true master of the craft), you’ll mix, roll, and season everything using traditional ingredients and family techniques passed down through generations.

As your creations slowly cook on the stove, we’ll gather around for stories, laughter, and a tasting of local treats: cheeses, sausages, pork skin (for the curious!), homemade bread, and more. We’ll toast with unlimited local wine and țuică, and of course, you’ll get a sip of my dad’s famous cherry liqueur, vișinată, a sweet family tradition we love to share.

When the sarmale are ready, you’ll sit down to enjoy the reward of your own hands, paired with polenta, sour cream, and a homemade dessert. And since this is a hands-on learning experience, everything you'll eat is made by you, with a little help from us, of course!
