If the Forest Fairy Terrace is closed and inaccessible on Japanese weekends, public holidays, or due to traffic restrictions, the visit will be replaced with a tour of the Takushinkan Museum.

Weekdays: Wander Furano’s Ningle Terrace – a fairy-tale-like spot inspired by author Kenji Miyazawa. Explore handcraft huts selling winter-exclusive items like glassware and paper art.
National holidays: Visit Takushinkan Museum to admire photos of Hokkaido’s winter scenery and experience ice-and-snow light art.

Next, Explore Shikisai-no-oka. Immerse yourself in snowy landscapes where vast white fields meet distant snow-capped mountains – ideal for Japanese-style winter photos. Optional snowmobile experience (cost not included; confirm with the guide in advance) or walk along snow paths (non-slip snow boots recommended). If you do not participate in the snowmobile experience, you may enjoy free snow activities within the snowmobile park—such as having snowball fights and taking photos. Please note that no other alternative attractions will be provided.

Then, a drive-by of the iconic Ken & Mary Tree—its branches heavy with snow, framed by a sea of white. Your guide pauses at prime spots for in-vehicle photos, so you can capture the winter sunlight glinting off the snow without braving the cold.

Finally, visit Asahiyama Zoo. Known for its “natural habitat” exhibits, the zoo offers winter-only sights. Admission is included – the guide will assist with group check-in (no extra payment needed). Observe animals in their winter routines without crowds for an up-close experience.
