What you can expect

The Natural Reserve of Ilhéu de Vila Franca is located in the south coast of São Miguel island, in front of Vila Franca do Campo, in Azores. It consists of a small volcanic islet, about 500 meters from the shore and 1200 meters from Vila Franca do Campo Marina, where we are located. This place is one of the biggest local tourist attractions and is sought after by all who visit us.

Join us on a boat trip around the Natural Reserve, accompanied by a guide, where you can observe the volcanic rock formations and the sea birds that live there and those that use the place to nest, like the Garajau-comum (sterna hirundo). For sure, this is an experience you do not want to miss.
