Overview

Explore the São Miguel Island in one day: Sete Cidades lakes, Fogo Lake, Furnas Lake, Ribeira dos Caldeirões Waterfalls, Nordeste, Ribeira Grande, Mosteiros, Tea Plantation and much more.

Depart from your accommodation and journey along the south coast of São Miguel before heading towards the west side of the island to see one of the 7 wonders of Portugal, the volcanic lakes of sete cidades.

From there we will move to the north side of the island to see the beautiful Lagoa do fogo lake.

Our Journey continues towards the wonderful waterfalls of Ribeira dos Caldeirões, a very beautiful and quiet Natural Park. Then a stop for a typical Azorean lunch!

Finishing Lunch, Furnas Valley is waiting for us to experience its dramatic volcanic landscape. There we can admire the wild viewpoint of the Pico do Ferro for a panoramic view of the valley.

Return to the accommodation via the island's north road, and stop at the site of Europe's only tea plantations and tea factory.
