  • About this sightseeing tour

    Starting in Salento, Quindío, by jeep from the Cocoratours office at Calle #2 -09, at the end of Calle Real, opposite the Hotel Mahalo, or from your hotel if it is in the urban area of Salento, Quindío, to the Cocora Valley, where we will begin the sightseeing tour on foot, visiting the various attractions, such as:

    Man-made attractions: The jeep with the flag and coffee sacks for photos, the Cocora sign, the fences, the traditional house, the puma, the bear, the deer, the condor's nest, and the blue hand of the Cocora Valley with wax palms in the background. (If you don't like photos, you can skip them on the tour).

    Walking tour: Beautiful 2- to 3-hour tour through the palm valleys, passing by natural vantage points that offer an approximately 360-degree view over the entire Cocora Valley, taking in the best scenic spots with the river basins and seeing the wax palms, Colombia's tallest national “tree,” as well as photo spots.
