What you can expect

Day 1: Bucharest & The Stoker Legacy
Your journey begins in Bucharest, a city of striking contrasts. trace the timeline from Vlad the Impaler to the shadow of Ceausescu, discovering how East meets West. Then, escape to the rolling hills of the Dealu Mare wine region. Indulge in a premium tasting at a renowned vineyard before stepping into the cellars of Stoker Wines. Your evening concludes with a gourmet dinner and a stay at a charming vineyard manor.

Day 2: The Royal & The Real Dracula
Head toward Transylvania to witness two architectural icons. First, the Neo-Renaissance masterpiece, Peles Castle, the summer retreat of kings. After a lavish lunch, prepare for the highlight: an exclusive guided visit to Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle). Dacre Stoker himself will reveal why this fortress became the setting of the world’s most famous horror story. The night ends with “Stoker on Stoker,” a private presentation by Dacre, followed by dinner.

Day 3: Medieval Brasov & The King’s Village
Wander the cobblestones of Brasov as we unveil the legend of Kathrina Siegel, the alleged mistress of Vlad the Impaler. After lunch, step back in time in Viscri, the Saxon village that so charmed King Charles III he bought a home here. Experience ancestral country life before departing at dusk for the UNESCO marvel of Sighisoara.

Day 4: UNESCO Citadel Sighisoara + Sibiu
Today Nora will take you through the hidden paths of the colorful streets of Sighisoara. You'll explore the fascinating connections that link Sighisoara to some of the world's most enduring tales and even modern-day science. As we wind through the city's crooked alleys, you'll hear about the real-life inspirations for the Brothers Grimm's dark fairytales. For lunch, we gather at the very house where Vlad Dracula is said to have been born. In the afternoon, we leave Sighisoara and continue your adventure through Weinland, the region where settlers from the Rhine and Moselle areas brought their ancient vine tradition from the early 13th century. We explore Sibiu, a town brimming with captivating history. Enjoy the majestic architecture, from the Large and Small Squares to the legendary Bridge of Lies. With Dacre and Nora, you’ll dive into the life of Emily Gerard, a literary trailblazer who once lived here. It was within these very streets that she wrote tales of Transylvania's superstitions, coining the term “Nosferatu,” which provided much of the dark folklore for Bram Stoker's Dracula. Hermannstadt is famously called the “Town of a Thousand Eyes,” a place where the unique dormer windows on the rooftops stare back at you from every angle. The adventure rounds up at Reichau Inn with a relaxing evening under the stars, complete with a cozy bonfire, an atmospheric guitar recital, and readings of contemporary vampire stories.
