The experience begins with a warm welcome at the cruise ship port. We'll be waiting for you there with a “Mike Roa Tours” sign. Once the group is complete, we'll head to the highest point of Roatán to enjoy a panoramic view of your cruise ship. Next, we will visit the Ecological Park, where a professional local guide will explain the different forms of life within this park, which has walking trails, a suspension bridge, a butterfly garden, and Mayan sculptures. Discover a wide variety of trees, flowers, and wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, macaws, guaras, and more as you stroll through this natural paradise.
Afterwards, we'll head to the always interesting West End area. This is where the famous Chocolate Factory is located, but it's also where locals and tourists coexist, and where you'll find everything from local fishermen to expats who have made Roatán their new home. It's an ideal place to go shopping, take photos, and enjoy the beach.
From here, we'll take you to West Bay, where you'll find one of the best beaches in Central America. You can enjoy it for free or buy a day pass at a resort to make the most of it.
The rum cakes and the Roatán sign are always good places for a short break to take photos and sample the food.
To avoid stress, we'll take you back to your cruise ship at least two hours before departure.
