This ride is designed for all experience levels and is enjoyed mostly at a relaxed walking pace, allowing riders to fully take in the raw beauty and quiet rhythm of the Icelandic landscape.

    Along the way, there may be an opportunity to experience the smooth and unique tölt of the Icelandic horse, if all riders are comfortable and deemed eligible by the guide. More than anything, this ride is about connection — with the horses, the stillness of nature, and the striking volcanic scenery that makes the Red Lava Hills so unforgettable.

    For an easy and seamless experience, optional transportation to and from Reykjavík city center is available, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy the journey from the city to our stables and back.
