An experience to live closely the day of researchers, guests of the Mary G sailboat in a real mini-course about cetaceans. During the navigation you will attend a presentation about the cetaceans biology held by the researcher on board, you will be able to meet dolphins in wild a few meters away and see how the acquired data are used.
The daily experience begins at 9:00 a.m., and after boarding our sailboat, you'll immediately attend a course on cetaceans and our scientific research. Then the monitoring time begins, with everyone monitoring the sea for these magnificent animals! During the sighting, you'll see how we approach them, with total respect, to take photos of their dorsal fins, and we'll explain many things about their behavior. At the end of this time, we'll be shown you how data is collected, including photo-identification and, if there's time, we'll stop in a beautiful cove for a swim. We'll return around 3:00 p.m.
