Your Verde River trip begins with a simple check in at our Cottonwood launch hub, where the Clarkdale Kayak Company team will help get you ready for the water. We’ll match you with the right kayak, provide your paddle and life vest, and walk you through what to expect before heading out. Once everyone is geared up, our shuttle takes you to the river so you can skip the heavy lifting and enjoy an easy start to the day. From there, you’ll float and paddle on your self-guided tour, through a scenic 3.1 mile stretch of the Verde River, surrounded by desert views, cool water, and a few gentle mini rapids to keep things fun. This trip is a great fit for beginners, families, couples, and groups who want a relaxed outdoor adventure without overcomplicating the experience. When your paddle is complete, we''l pick you up at the designated endpoint, and get you back to the Dream West Caboose, making it easy to keep exploring Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, and the Verde Valley!
