Begin your adventure with pickup in Rabat. Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques.
Continue through Midelt and enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga, located at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, begin your camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. Experience the peaceful atmosphere of the desert as you reach your camp.
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and spend the night in a desert camp (standard or luxury) under a sky full of stars.
On the second day, explore the Sahara Desert by 4x4. Visit nomadic families, discover hidden desert areas, and experience traditional Berber hospitality. Continue to Khamlia village, where you will enjoy Gnawa music and learn about its unique culture.
Return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening and a second night in the desert.
On the third day, wake up early to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, begin your journey back, enjoying scenic stops along the way before returning to Rabat or continuing to another destination.
