The neighborhood is home to numerous heritage buildings constructed throughout the 20th century.
It also has other attractions such as the Artisan Market, a stop of interest to get to know the city of Quito, the Parque El Ejido, the Gothic-style church of Santa Teresita, and, if you like, the National Museum, with free admission.
