Day 1: Puno - La Paz
This day will start with the pick up from your hotel in Puno to cross the border between Peru and Bolivia. On the way we will stop for lunch on our own and then continue by road to La Paz.
We will arrive at approximately 14:00 hours in the Bolivian capital. Here we will have the opportunity to visit its cable car, the most important in South America, which crosses the city to the city center (optional, on your own).
We will have time to have dinner on our own and at 20:00 we will take the bus to Uyuni.}

Day 2: Uyuni Salt Flat - La Paz
This day we will arrive in Uyuni in the morning and walk to a local place so you can have breakfast on your own. Then we will take a 4x4 vehicle that will take us to the Salar de Uyuni, which is considered the largest salt desert in the world. On our way we will make a stop at the Uyuni train cemetery, where you will see the first locomotives that circulated in Bolivia.

We will get off our vehicle in the town of Colchani, which is very close to the salt flat. Here we will see how salt extraction works and visit the Playa Blanca hotel, which is built with salt blocks. Afterwards we will stop for a regional lunch consisting of a starter, main course and infusion and then we will drive into the desert until we reach Incahuasi Island, which is located in the heart of the salt flat and where the huge cacti are the main protagonists.
We will have some time to visit Incahuasi and the salt flat and take some good pictures before returning to the city of Uyuni. Here you will also have time to rest, shop and have dinner on your own. At 8:00 p.m. we will transfer to the bus terminal to take the bus back to La Paz.

Day 3: La Paz - Puno
At 5:00 a.m. we will arrive in La Paz, where we will take a bus to Desaguadero to cross the border again. We will have some time to have breakfast on our own and then depart. On our way we will visit the Colonial temple of Santiago Apostle, one of the most beautiful religious buildings in the area, decorated in its interior by outstanding Cusquenian artists.
After visiting these two cities, we will return to Puno and leave around 2:00 pm.

Night bus
This tour does not include accommodation, but the round trip by bus between La Paz and Uyuni is done at night, so you will sleep on the bus.
