Welcome to Cacao Center, located in the heart of Puerto Maldonado. It is our conservation center, organic coffee shop, chocolate shop, and restaurant. During our experience, you can taste fresh exotic fruits from our farm, including the cacao fruit!

• Learn about the process of turning cocoa beans into chocolate. Roast, peel, and grind your own selection of cacao beans while you learn about the secrets of fine artisanal chocolate and its rich cultural history.
• Refine your chocolate in our special cocoa mill and witness how its texture is transformed.
  While you wait for your cocoa to set, make and enjoy pisco sours with us! We will also taste a variety of chocolates made in-house. Finally, you'll go home with your own handmade chocolate bar and a whole new perspective on cocoa and, most importantly, on the relationship between cocoa and conservation, and on how you can use your consumption choices to help us change the world of chocolate, one bar at a time.
