Activity itinerary

Sydney Observatory

  • 15m
Begin at Observatory Hill, where sweeping views extend across the historic rooftops and sandstone buildings of The Rocks to Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. This elevated vantage point offers a wonderful introduction to the city and an excellent opportunity for photos.

The Rocks (Pass by)

Continue into The Rocks on a panoramic drive through Sydney’s oldest neighbourhood. Pass historic sandstone buildings, heritage pubs and narrow laneways as your guide shares stories of the area’s fascinating past and its place in Sydney’s early development.

Sydney Harbour (Pass by)

Experience Sydney Harbour from a series of carefully chosen vantage points, with ever-changing views across the water, waterfront neighbourhoods and city skyline. See the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge from different perspectives, with opportunities to pause for memorable photos along the way.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

  • 30m
Walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge on its dedicated pedestrian walkway, travelling from The Rocks to Milsons Point while your guide drives around to meet you on the north side. The crossing offers one of Sydney’s best views across the harbour, Sydney Opera House and city skyline.

Kirribilli (Pass by)

Take a panoramic drive through the colorful streets of Kirribilli and see Kirribilli House and Admiralty House, the residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General of Australia.

Milsons Point

  • 15m
Pause at Milsons Point beneath the northern end of the Harbour Bridge. From this waterfront vantage point, enjoy striking views across the harbour to the Sydney Opera House and city skyline—one of the best locations for photographing Sydney’s two great icons together.

St. Mary's Cathedral (Pass by)

Drive past St Mary’s Cathedral, an impressive Gothic Revival landmark overlooking Hyde Park. Admire its warm sandstone façade, intricate details and soaring twin spires as you continue through the heart of the city.

Mrs Macquarie's Chair

  • 20m
Visit Mrs Macquarie’s Point for one of Sydney’s most iconic views, with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge framed together across the water. See the sandstone Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and enjoy time to capture that classic Sydney postcard photo.

Kings Cross (Pass by)

Travel through Kings Cross, a neighbourhood known for its colourful nightlife, bohemian past and distinctive Art Deco streetscapes. See how this once-notorious entertainment district has evolved into one of Sydney’s most fascinating inner-city areas.

Rose Bay (Pass by)

Continue through the harbourside suburb of Rose Bay, passing leafy streets, elegant waterfront homes, sandy beaches and busy marinas. Glimpse the harbour between the trees as the journey follows Sydney’s scenic eastern shoreline.

Watsons Bay

  • 15m
Stop in Watsons Bay, a relaxed harbourside village near South Head. Enjoy views across the water towards the city skyline and take in the lively waterfront atmosphere around its beach, wharf and foreshore.

The Gap Lookout

  • 15m
Take in the dramatic sandstone cliffs and sweeping Pacific Ocean views from The Gap lookout. Watch the ocean swells meet the rugged coastline below and experience a striking contrast to the calm waters of Sydney Harbour just moments away.

Macquarie Lighthouse (Pass by)

Drive past the heritage-listed Macquarie Lighthouse, Australia’s first lighthouse, standing high above the Pacific Ocean at Vaucluse. Its striking white tower remains one of Sydney’s most distinctive coastal landmarks.

Bondi Beach

  • 30m
Enjoy free time at Bondi Beach, taking in its golden sand, rolling surf and lively beachfront atmosphere. See the famous Bondi Icebergs ocean pool perched above the waves, with an opportunity to purchase lunch from one of the nearby cafés or eateries at your own expense.

Bondi to Coogee Walk

  • 30m
Starting beside the famous Bondi Icebergs ocean pool, follow a short section of the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk to Tamarama. The path winds above rocky coves, sandstone headlands and the open Pacific, revealing beautiful coastal views along the way.

Paddington (Pass by)

Return to the city on a panoramic drive through Paddington and Surry Hills, two of Sydney’s most distinctive inner-city neighbourhoods. Pass rows of Victorian terrace houses, intricate wrought-iron balconies, leafy streets, restored heritage buildings and lively local cafés.
