We will visit part of the Mitla archaeological site, specifically the section known as the "adobe group." This area is one that very few people know about or visit because it is not part of the large complex. However, it is equally important because we can see the first church built in the town at the top. We will also park on the edge of the church and the archaeological zone, where we will tell you the best-kept secrets of this church and the archaeological zone of our town.

This part is the distance from the center of our town to the prehistoric caves. The tour is very beautiful, because we will go through the entire mountain where we will be able to observe the flora and fauna of our community. With luck, we can see bulls, horses, owls, goats, sheep, cows, eagles, and different animals that graze in the area. The time described here is the total round trip time of the route.

We visited the prehistoric caves, taking a walking tour that was very relaxing for anyone. Learning about our past through cave paintings is undoubtedly an adventure you can't miss. Hopefully we can see many of them here. It's important for you to know that these caves are more than 10,000 years old and belong to a protected natural area in Oaxaca. As we begin the descent, we will sit at a lookout point to enjoy the view and have a mezcal, to thank the earth and Mother Nature for all that she has given us. Afterwards we returned to the Mitla center, to the place where we began the adventure. The time described here is the total length of the tour for this part of the tour.

At the end of the adventure in Cuatrimotos, we will taste a typical regional meal of Oaxaca. Because we need energy from a good walk and drive in ATV.
