(It is recommended to book weeks in advance or check the availability of entrance to Machu Picchu, avoid inconveniences).
Most of the Inca Jungle tour is located within the province of La Convención and Urubamba. Throughout the tour we pass through various towns, such as Ollantaytambo, Abra Malaga, Santa Maria, Santa Teresa and Hydroelectric.
Inca Jungle is a perfect option for adventure and adrenaline, likewise it is suitable to appreciate the great natural and geographical variety of the region.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Cusco - Abra Malaga - Santa Maria
- We start this adventure by picking you up at your hotel at 6:00 a.m. approximately, until we reach our first stop, Abra Malaga Pass.
- Our first activity, cycling, is done with the corresponding equipment, from Abra Malaga to Inca de Huamanmarca.
- Lunch in Huamanmarca and exploration of the Inca ruins of the place.
- Afterwards we head to Santa Maria for the rafting activity, finishing we head to Santa Teresa where we will spend the night.
Day 2: Santa Teresa - Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes
- In the morning we leave to the Yanatile sector for a good breakfast and then do the Zip Line activity, previous explanation.
- This activity allows us to go through different circuits of zip lines and climbing.
- Then we have lunch to go to Hidroeléctrica for a walk until we arrive to Aguas Calientes.
- Upon arrival we will go to the respective hotel to spend the night.
Day 3: Machu Picchu - Cusco
- We start the day very early, approximately 4:00 a.m. to get ready and begin the hike to the Puente Inca checkpoint.
If you do not wish to make the hike you have the option to buy the consettur bus ticket that takes you from the village to the entrance gate to Machu Picchu.
- Upon arrival, we meet to enter Machu Picchu and have a guided tour.
- After the visit you will have free time to walk around the village of Machu Picchu and finally return to the city of Cusco in the afternoon.
