Embark on a memorable journey filled with breathtaking sights and experiences on the Bromo Sunrise Expedition. Witness the sunrise at Mount Bromo, explore the Tengger Caldera, and visit the Widodaren Hill.

Start with a private pick-up from your location in Surabaya, usually in the early hours of the morning. As you leave the city, experience the gradual change from urban landscapes to rural settings, with views of small villages, farmlands, and distant mountains.

The journey to Mount Bromo is comfortable, with stops along the way to stretch and refresh. The private vehicle ensures a relaxing start to your adventure.

Upon arriving near Mount Bromo, switch to a 4x4 jeep for an off-road adventure. The jeep will take you to Penanjakan or King Kong Hill, one of the highest viewpoints around Mount Bromo. Here, witness one of the most famous sunrises in Indonesia. As the sun rises, it casts a golden glow over the mist-filled caldera, with Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru in the distance creating a stunning panorama.

After the sunrise, travel across the vast Tengger Caldera, a sea of volcanic sand. Pass by the ancient Luhur Poten Temple, a Hindu temple nestled at the base of the volcano, offering a glimpse into the spiritual life of the local Tenggerese people.

Arrive at the base of Mount Bromo, where you can hike or ride a horse to the crater's edge. From here, witness the active crater, with plumes of smoke rising from within.

Then nestled beside the iconic crater, this Widodaren Hill is wrapped in mystic legends and lush landscapes, making it a perfect spot for tranquil reflection and stunning photography. Whether you're chasing the golden light or simply soaking in the silence, Widodaren Hill promises an unforgettable moment above the clouds.

Later, enjoy a local breakfast at a local restaurant and enjoy the full buffet breakfast. The meal typically includes traditional Javanese dishes such as nasi goreng (fried rice), mie goreng (fried noodles), snacks and fruits.

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Surabaya. The return trip is a chance to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures, as you pass through more scenic landscapes. Be dropped off at your hotel or chosen location in Surabaya, typically by late afternoon, concluding the tour with lasting memories of an incredible day spent exploring Mount Bromo and its surroundings.
