What you can expect

  • I pick you up at your location and then it's an hour’s drive to the Cradle of Humankind where we find our first stop at Safari and Lion Park. Shane, a third generation South African who has spent many years in the bush, will be your guide. He will tell you many stories about wild animals and South African history in general. Don't be scared to ask him any questions. This is a fun trip and you are welcome to customize should you so wish.
After checking out the lions, wild dogs, cheetahs, and many more animals, it's another 30 minute drive to the Maropeng Museum.
This museum is an educational museum owned by the University of the Witwatersrand. It's amazing to think that 2 million years ago the fossil Mrs Ples was walking around in these mountains. This is an international heritage site and a bucket list tick.
After our museum visit, it is back to your hotel or location
