In the morning after breakfast we’ll begin our 2nd day by heading East to the Sahara Desert. On our way we’ll stop at Tinghir (Todra Gorge) a pass between two mountains where water flows right thru the middle of the two. You’ll stroll thru the mountain pass along the water’s edge. You’ll notice why this city also became known for its palm trees, groves, and lush agriculture. Later we’ll arrive in the small city of Touroge to enjoy lunch and relax at a restaurant. After lunch we’ll move ahead on the final stretch to the infamous Sahara Desert. We’ll arrive at its edge in Merzouga where fun but gentle camels await to trek you across the desert dunes. The camels will bid you adieu at your luxury desert camp where you’ll have dinner and spend the evening around a fire enjoying live Berber music and participating if you choose. All this under a sky full of stars and an endless sea of desert dunes stretching as far as the eye can see will leave a lasting impression unlike any other.

On the third day of our tour you can awake early to catch a beautiful sunrise. You’ll be served a full breakfast in the camp’s dining hall then meet the camels again to trek you back across the desert dunes to our meeting place. You may choose to try sandboarding if you’d like. From our meeting place we’ll begin to make our way back passing thru Rissani city and visiting its souk. You’ll see various people including Berbers and Arabs selling such wares as traditional shoes, scarves, hats, clothes, and of course spices. We’ll continue in our way via the city of Alnif and Draa Valley. When we arrive at Nkob we’ll enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant then we’ll wind our way to Ouarzazate via the Anti Atlas and Ait Sawn curves. More gorgeous vistas will surround you as well as chances to stop for photos at a lookout point. We’ll reach Ouarzazate where you’ll be served dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening at your riad or hotel.

In the morning after breakfast on day 4 we’ll visit one of the famous movie studios we passed by on the first day. This studio has an impressive history of hosting some big name movies and actors. Post studio tour we’ll have lunch at Tizi Ntichka Zig Zags and then continue our route back to Marrakesh. You’ll end our tour back in Marrakech at your independently secured accommodation (we are happy to offer suggestions) to enjoy the rest of your time in magical Morocco on your own. Should you so choose we will be fully available to assist you in adding any other activities around Marrakech such as hot air ballooning, a tour of the Marrakech Medina, or a traditional Hamman spa day.
