Immerse yourself in the art of Japanese calligraphy at our brand new, stylish studio located in Toyosu, near Toyosu Fish Market & teamLab. Unlike traditional classrooms, this experience takes place in a clean, sophisticated private space where you can truly relax. What you will do: 1. Watch the video about the history of Japanese calligraphy and how to use tools. 2: Practice basic strokes and learn how to write your favorite Kanji characters several times on Japanese paper. Also, you will practice how to write your name in Japanese. 3: Choose a special item to infuse with your feelings, such as an elegant folding fan, a hanging scroll to brighten your room. Using stencils and colors, you’ll paint traditional Japanese patterns such as Sakura and bamboo, Samurai, Ninja etc, expressing your own artistic style. Relax and enjoy calligraphy while savoring complimentary drinks and sweets! The instructor will guide you step by step, so no artistic experience is needed.
