Overview

  • Discover another side of Auckland as you leave the city behind and head through the vineyards and countryside of Kumeū before continuing to the wild west coast.

    Your first stop is Kumeu River Wines, where you'll enjoy a cellar door tasting and have the chance to try some of their renowned Chardonnay. From there, continue to Soljans Estate, a fifth-generation family-owned winery. Go behind the scenes on a winery tour and see a little of what goes into making their wines, before settling in for a tasting of five wines with a cheese board.

    Then it's on to Muriwai, where you can stretch your legs with a walk along the famous black-sand beach and take in the rugged coastline and Tasman Sea.

    This is a private experience, so it's just you, your group and your local guide throughout the tour. Travel in our comfortable Mercedes-Benz V-Class, enjoy the wineries at a relaxed pace and take the time to stop for photos and enjoy the scenery along the way.
