Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park
This UNESCO World Heritage Site features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with an underground river. A unique feature of the river is that it flows directly into the sea, with its lower portion being influenced by tidal movements. The park is also an important habitat for biodiversity conservation, home to a complete ‘mountain-to-sea’ ecosystem, and one of the most crucial forest areas in Asia.
