Step into the world of the Brontës on this private day tour for between 1-5 guests. Greg, your guide, will take you through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside to Brontë country. The first stop is at the location of Thorpe Green Hall where Anne was a Governess, then after a short comfort break we continue to Saltaire and the historic Salt Mills. Greg will then take you to attend the Brontë birthplace (entrance included) where he offers an engaging tour at the family home where the famous siblings grew up. We then travel to Haworth, here enjoy two free hours to wander the cobbled streets, browse charming shops, enjoy a coffee, and visit the Brontë Parsonage Museum. The day concludes with a trip up Penistone Hill with sweeping views toward Top Withens. Entrance fees to the Brontë birthplace and Parsonage Museum are included. Haworth

  • 2h
Welcome to Haworth, at the heart of Brontë country. Your visit today includes entrance to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, the former home of Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë. It was inside this modest stone house that Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall were written. The Parsonage stands at the top of the village beside the church and on the edge of the open moorland, a setting that deeply influenced the sisters’ writing. You now have two hours of free time to explore Haworth at your own pace. The village itself is full of character, with its steep cobbled Main Street lined with traditional stone buildings, independent shops, bookshops, and welcoming cafés. Much of Haworth has retained its historic charm, and as you walk through the streets you can still sense the atmosphere of the 19th century. Take your time to enjoy the Parsonage and the village surroundings, and make the most of your visit to this unique and inspiring literary setting.

Penistone Hill Country Park

  • 15m
Finally we drive up Penistone Hill that faces towards Top Withens. From here we will get a sense of the beautiful but bleak Moors that inspired the sister
