Starting at Douro Marina, we will take the tour along the Douro River under the bridges that connect the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. In the Ribeira area, we offer two glasses of two different port wines, among the best and selected especially for the occasion and to accompany the delicious local appetizers chosen, so that you can enjoy even more the iconic landscape of Ribeira do Porto and D. Luís Bridge, which deserve to be part of UNESCO World Heritage.
We also have the option of purchasing 1 bottle of white Vinho Verde from the beautiful region of Ponte de Lima on board for consumption throughout the tour. If you would like any changes to the included products or the addition of extra products, we are fully available to accommodate this. Please send us a message. We also have some local stories about the bridges and monuments that you can see on the tour, which enrich your knowledge of the region and allow for an even deeper and more empathetic connection with this beautiful city with so much history.
The destination will again be the Marina da Afurada, so you can enjoy another trip along the banks of the Douro on the way back. Also, if you choose the Sunset tour, you can experience one of the best sunsets in the world, which is greatly appreciated by the locals and which so many people come to Porto just to experience once in their lifetime.
Upon arrival, and for an even more complete experience, we recommend trying some local cuisine at one of the recommended restaurants in the area, away from the center, especially fresh grilled fish caught by local fishermen in the waters along our coast.
