Guests are collected from any address in Johannesburg or Pretoria and taken on a guided tour of the Pretoria city highlights. We visit the Union Buildings which are the seat of the national government. You’ll have a chance to stroll through the beautiful, terraced gardens and enjoy a spectacular view of the city. Our next stop is the Voortrekker Monument. This monument is of great significance to many Afrikaans-speaking South Africans because it stands for Afrikaner Nationalism. The interior walls depict the story of the Great Trek, a mass movement of Afrikaner Boers who resented British rule in the Cape and trekked North. The next interesting site is the Paul Kruger House Museum. Learn more about the former President of South Africa and view a displayed and personal items that belonged to the Kruger family. The tour continues on to Church Square, Ou Raadsaal, Palace of Justice and Capital Theatre. You’re driver takes you back to where you are staying at the end of the tour.
Note: Kruger House closes at 12 noon on Sundays
