During this tasting, we will first visit the cellars and the original stone-walled wine press, where wine has been made and stored since the 16th century and for several centuries thereafter.
We will enjoy a tasting of 4–5 premium wines produced by small-scale winemakers who are at the forefront of the silent revolution taking place in Rioja. These wines, all in the 90+ range, are personally selected based on quality and consistency.
The aim of this tasting is for guests to discover the richness and diversity of Rioja wines by enjoying wines that are outside the industry's commercial circuit.
What I offer is a personal experience, an intimate and honest conversation in which we will discuss soils, climates, and grape varieties, but also history, traditions, and, above all, the people behind the bottles we will uncork.
This experience is a great way to discover the side of Rioja winemaking that often doesn't make the front pages, but which is laying the foundations for the future of our wine region. This tasting provides visitors with a genuine understanding of La Rioja and is an excellent way to grasp the importance that wine has had, has, and will have for our town and region.
The tasting is accompanied by an aperitif, and every detail is seen to: personalized tablecloths, high-quality glassware, and service that will always live up to the wines being enjoyed.
