My name is Matthew and I will be taking you along the Great Ocean Road on this full day boutique sightseeing experience.
This tour is designed for travellers who want to enjoy the coast at a slower pace, without big crowds or large coaches. With a maximum of 6 guests, there is plenty of space to relax, ask questions and connect with other like minded travellers while we explore one of Australia’s most iconic drives.
If you are looking to go deeper, we can also curate a specialised multi day Great Ocean Road experience upon request, tailored to your interests, pace, and preferred stops.
Across the day you will visit:
• Twelve Apostles – admire the famous limestone stacks from the clifftop lookouts and capture classic Great Ocean Road photos
• Loch Ard Gorge – walk down into this dramatic cove and hear the story of the Loch Ard shipwreck
• Melba Gully temperate rainforest – step into ancient cool temperate rainforest with towering trees and lush ferns
• Wild koala and kangaroo spotting – keep an eye out for koalas in the trees and kangaroos in the wild along the route
• Apollo Bay – enjoy free time in this charming seaside town
• Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch – stop at the iconic gateway that commemorates the returned soldiers who built the road
An organic packed lunch is included for every guest, so you can spend more time enjoying the views and less time queuing for food. Throughout the day I will be with the group, sharing stories, history and local tips that I have gathered from over 20 years of guiding along this coastline.
We keep the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, with regular comfort stops and plenty of chances to stretch your legs, take photos and enjoy the scenery.
