What you can expect

Explore Prague after dark on a guided walking tour, and hear of the legends and mysteries of its enchanting Old Town. Hear the stories of the Golem and the Devil’s Bible (Codex Gigas), both featured in Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets, as you admire the city lit up at night and visit iconic sites like Prague Castle, King’s Vineyard, and Charles Bridge.

As the crowds thin and twilight descends, your adventure in nighttime Prague begins. Meet your guide at the Old Town Square, and begin your stroll through the streets filled with history and legends as you venture off the beaten path.

Head first to Paris Street, one of the most elegant passages in Prague. See the exterior of the synagogue on the street, where the legendary Golem, the protector of the former Jewish Ghetto, is supposedly hidden.

While walking toward the Manes Bridge, stop to see the interesting corner window that opens onto the charming underworld of the Old Town. Turn the corner and suddenly you’ll come to a place where alchemists once conducted experiments.

After crossing the bridge, marvel at the spectacular views of Prague. Ride up the hill by tram to the 12th-century Strahov Monastery. On the way down to Prague Castle, you’ll pass the Hole to Hell. Continue on, past the Marian Pillar and will come to the front gate of Prague Castle.

Take in the breathtaking view of the 3 spires of St. Vitus Cathedral and Prague Castle. See the medieval Powder Tower, the 10th-century vineyards of St. Wencelaus, and Wallenstein Palace, before concluding the tour.
