What you can expect

  • Discover an unexpected side to Vilnius on a walking tour with a professional guide.

Begin your adventure by meeting your guide at the famous Green Bridge. Continue your way up to the Soviet built Vilnius city centre and learn many personal stories of life back then. As you go further, the modern skyscrapers provide an amazing background for the Soviet buildings. Then you'll head to the 19th-century “Skansen” district of the Snipiskes neighborhood. “Skansen” means open-air museum, but this area is no museum.

A stone’s throw from the Vilnius Historic Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site, people live as they did in the 19th century. Learn about their lifestyles and wooden houses and the city’s history and culture with a local guide.

After traveling back in time, return to the 21st-century with a wealth of knowledge about Vilnius’s hidden gems.
