Picnic with a handcart – the “little break behind the dike”
…on the weekend, for a birthday, for couples, a girls' day out or a bachelor party, a wedding anniversary, a children's birthday party, or just because…
Here's how it works:
Choose a desired date and time and book a handcart for that date.
Lovingly packed and freshly prepared, the “Liebevoll-Bollerwagen” will be ready for pickup on the booked date. Then, with the whole family, walk about 500 meters to the dike. The destination can be the Wollersum bathing area on the Eider or another beautiful spot in nature “behind the dike” with a view of the water.

Choose the most beautiful spot, spread out the blanket, unpack the cart, and enjoy…

The picnic breakfast is freshly and imaginatively prepared, seasonal and regional.
It consists of freshly baked rolls, bread, croissants, jam, honey, various cheeses, a boiled egg, various types of sliced sausage and ham, meat salad, Norwegian smoked salmon and matjes, homemade dip, fresh fruit and vegetables as finger food, a pot of “specialty” coffee or tea, a bottle of Prosecco, and a bottle of orange juice.

A “Lovingly Handcart” is equipped with a picnic blanket, four cushions, plates, coffee cups, juice and prosecco glasses, cutlery, salt and pepper shakers, napkins, and a thermos flask.
Of course, garbage bags are also included, because:
Nothing is left behind during a picnic behind the embankment!

…and we don't use disposable packaging. We only use porcelain tableware, real glasses, polished cutlery, and reusable packaging.

A “Liebevoll handcart” with a picnic breakfast can be booked for 4 people per handcart, but it is also possible for larger groups. In that case, several “Love Handcarts” are simply booked.

Picnic times are Thursday to Sunday and on all public holidays

Picnic times: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, handcart return by 3:00 PM
Bookings at least 24 hours in advance.
Larger groups and different dates and times are also available on request.
