What you can expect

Get picked up at your hotel in the morning and head to County Tipperary - Ireland's Premier County.

After a two hour drive start your day with the Rock of Cashel. Experience the charm of one of Ireland's most stunning tourist spots, rich in history and beauty. The Rock of Cashel is a special place that promises unforgettable memories. It's home to a remarkable collection of medieval buildings, including a round tower, a tall cross, a chapel, a cathedral, an abbey, a hall, and a tower house from the 15th century. Once the seat of Munster kings, it's said that even St. Patrick visited here to convert a king to Christianity. In 978, Brian Boru was crowned High King here, making it his capital. You'll also get to see Cormac’s Chapel, a fantastic example of 12th-century Romanesque architecture in Ireland, featuring rare frescoes from that period.

Explore one of Ireland's biggest and well-kept castles, still holding its mighty keep, tower, and most of its original defenses from the 14th century. Take a stroll by the river Suir and don't miss the Movie Garden along the castle walls. This castle has starred in many famous films like The Last Duel, The Tudors, and Excalibur.

Take a guided tour of a charming thatched cottage where Lord and Lady Cahir used to host their guests. Step inside beautifully decorated rooms with top-notch furniture, hand-painted murals, and the world's first and most expensive wallpaper from that era.
