  • If you choose the option WITHOUT transfer; the service does not include transfer to the walkways
  • If you choose the without transfer option, the duration of the tour is reduced to 5 hours.
  • If there is a participant under the age of 15, please provide a photo of their passport with the date of birth so we can confirm the reservation. This will be requested at the time of confirmation.

What you can expect

The tour starts with passenger pick-up in El Calafate. You'll embark on our comfortable buses where our knowledgeable tour guides will provide insights about the area, the glacier, and the tour as we journey towards Parque Nacional Los Glaciares.

Upon arrival at Bajo de las Sombras port, you'll board a ship to cross Lago Rico and descend on the opposite coast, the south face of Glaciar Perito Moreno.

Upon disembarkation, our expert mountain guides will warmly welcome you. The trekking adventure begins! We'll traverse along the lake's coastline, with the glacier captivating our gaze. Our guides will deliver an informative talk on glaciology.

As we approach the glacier's side, adorned with mesmerizing shades of blue ice against the landscape, you'll be divided into subgroups of up to 20 people each and equipped with crampons and helmets.

Following the ice trekking, you'll retrace your steps along a path cutting through the Bosque Andino Patagónico, completing the exhilarating THREE-HOUR WALK encompassing lake coast, moraine, ice, and woods
