Discover Hokkaido’s winter scenery on a day trip from Sapporo. Admire the snow-covered landscapes of Biei, explore the charming Ningle Terrace in Furano, and visit Asahiyama Zoo to see animals in winter. You can also choose to enjoy an optional snowmobile ride across the snowy fields.

- Ningle Terrace / Takushinkan Museum
Wander through Furano’s fairy-tale forest village, where wooden cottages sit among snow-covered trees. Browse charming craft shops for unique souvenirs and enjoy the peaceful winter atmosphere surrounded by snowy woodland.
If Ningle Terrace is closed or inaccessible due to Japanese weekends, public holidays, or traffic restrictions, the visit will be replaced with a visit to Takushinkan Museum.
- Shikisai-no-oka
Take in the vast snowfields and distant mountain views at Shikisai-no-oka, capturing the wide-open winter landscapes that make Hokkaido so special. Enjoy photo opportunities or have fun playing in the soft snow.
If weather and snow conditions permit, you can also choose to experience an optional snowmobile ride at an additional cost. If there is insufficient snow, the activity may be replaced with visits to other sightseeing spots for safety reasons.
Please note that the snowmobile experience is optional and is not included in the tour price.
No alternative sightseeing stop will be arranged if you choose not to participate in the snowmobile activity.
If Shikisai-no-oka is closed or cannot be visited due to traffic restrictions or capacity limits, the visit will be replaced with Chiyoda Farm.
- Ken & Mary Tree (Drive-by, no stop)
See the iconic Ken & Mary Tree, a famous landmark in Biei surrounded by open countryside. In winter, its snow-covered branches stand out against the white landscape, offering a glimpse of Hokkaido’s picturesque winter scenery from the vehicle.
- Asahiyama Zoo (Admission Included)
Visit one of Hokkaido’s best-known zoos and observe animals in enclosures designed to reflect their natural habitats. Discover how different animals adapt to the cold season and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the zoo in winter. Admission to Asahiyama Zoo is included in the tour.
Enjoy a memorable winter escape from Sapporo, combining Hokkaido’s snowy landscapes, charming forest scenery, iconic landmarks, and a visit to Asahiyama Zoo.

The optional snowmobile experience depends on weather and snow conditions and may be unavailable if there is insufficient snow.
