Join me for a one-on-one guided ride through the Parque Metropolitano (ParqueMet) — one of Latin America’s largest urban parks — and enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Andes Mountains. We’ll ride at a relaxed pace through scenic roads, nature trails, and cultural viewpoints while learning about Santiago’s history, people, and landscapes.
We’ll meet on Santiago’s eastern side and get ready with our bikes and helmets before setting off through the city’s safe bike lanes toward the park. As we ride, you’ll get a glimpse of everyday life in Santiago — from bustling streets to calm green spaces — while learning about local cycling culture and city history.
We’ll ascend at a relaxed pace, surrounded by native trees, local joggers, and sweeping city views. Along the way, I’ll share stories about Santiago’s neighborhoods, its connection to the Andes, and how this park became the city’s natural heart.
At the Bellavista Terrace, we’ll pause to rest and enjoy Mote con Huesillo, a traditional Chilean drink, before continuing to a viewpoint overlooking the modern skyline of “Sanhattan.” Here you’ll have time for photos and to take in the contrast between nature and urban life.
We’ll finish our ride along the scenic Ciclovía 42K beside the Mapocho River, enjoying the last stretches of the city’s landscape as we head back to our starting point — full of fresh air, great views, and new perspectives of Santiago.
Bring comfortable clothes, positive energy, and a sense of adventure — just make sure you know how to ride a bike!
