A journey through art-rich urban spaces that, over the course of time, have witnessed and commemorated tragic and mysterious events at the crossroads of history and legend. We will walk through Piazza Garibaldi, Palazzo Fainardi, Piazzale della Pilotta, Piazza Ghiaia, and the Oltretorrente neighborhoods, discovering the macabre, mysterious, and terrifying events that have shaped these places. This is not your typical guided tour of Parma, but a captivating and thrilling journey resulting from extensive research into the city's dark past, a time when it was not easy to disentangle oneself from superstition and witchcraft. You won't be able to wait to tell everyone about it!

Places we will visit: the “Palace of Torment,” the “Theaters of Blood,” the site of Barbara Sanseverino’s beheading, the remains of the Inquisition Church, the Piazza dei Roghi, the witch Alina and other heretics, the terrorist hideout, Parmigianino the alchemist, and much more.

This tour will take place exclusively outdoors.
