Meeting Point and Time We will meet at 9:00 AM at the main entrance of the Cinemateca de Bogotá, located at Carrera 3 # 19-10. Our Mycelium Travel team will be waiting for you to begin this adventure.
⛰️ The Páramo Adventure Departure to the Páramo (9:00 AM): From the Cinemateca, we will travel by private transportation to the páramo, a short distance from Bogotá. The journey will offer spectacular views of the savanna and mountains.
Natural Connection and Hike (Approx. 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM): Upon arrival at the páramo, we will begin our moderate hike. During the tour, you will connect with the essence of this unique ecosystem: Frailejones and Puyas: You will learn about these iconic plants, guardians of water, and their fundamental role in the ecosystem.
The Water Cycle: You will witness how the páramo functions as a “natural water factory,” understanding its vital importance. Hidden Waterfall: Our route will take us to a beautiful waterfall, a refreshing and majestic end to our exploration of the páramo. We will have time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures.
Return to Bogotá (Approx. 1:30 PM): After our hike, we will take our transportation back to the city. ️ Traditional Colombian Lunch Back in Bogotá, we will close our experience by enjoying a delicious traditional Colombian lunch at a selected local restaurant, where you can recharge your batteries and share the memories of the day. The activity will end after lunch at the same restaurant, conveniently located so you can continue with your plans in Bogotá.
