This unique bike ride will give you the chance to discover Palermo's east coast. With bikes (or e-bikes) we will ride around 50 km, leaving the city and riding close to the sea. Much of the route is flat and runs along quiet secondary roads. Landscape and cultural interest are based on many features: the coastal settings, the citrus cultivation, the rural and marine areas with some fishing villages, the old lighthouse in Capo Zafferano. Also we will stop in Bagheria, a town close to Palermo, to visit one of the patrician villas of the 18th century. At the end of the ride participants will return to the starting point.
