What you can expect

  • Palazzolo Acreide is a town in the province of Syracuse known for its late Baroque architectural gems. Discover with us the beauty and hidden treasures of the Church of San Sebastiano.
Our journey to discover this late Baroque jewel begins by admiring the façade, continuing inside the church, where you will be surrounded by exquisite stuccoes and fine paintings. And finally, we will take you to discover the feast of Saint Sebastian, held on 10 August each year, by visiting the room of the so-called 'vare': precious objects that are part of the ferculum carried in procession on the day dedicated to the most venerated martyr saint in Sicily.
