Sumo Show & Cultural Experience
Discover sumo through an interactive experience led by former professional rikishi.
Watch powerful live bouts from just a few meters away and experience the speed, impact, and strength of sumo up close. Along the way, learn about sumo rules, rituals, etiquette, history, and traditions in an entertaining format designed for international visitors.
After the show, step into the dohyō yourself. Learn basic sumo movements such as shiko and suri-ashi directly from former rikishi. Then, get the chance to challenge a former professional wrestler in a friendly one-on-one Sumo Match Experience.
This is more than just a sumo show. You can watch it, learn it, train like a rikishi, and experience sumo for yourself.
Our venue uses a specially designed mat-based dohyō built to the same dimensions as a professional sumo ring, allowing guests to take part safely and comfortably. Women, children, and first-time participants are welcome.
We aim to give as many guests as possible the opportunity to join the Sumo Match Experience. When participation is especially high, challengers may be selected at random for safety and scheduling. Children are given priority whenever possible.
Before the show, guests can freely try on a traditional Japanese haori and take photos. Premium Kimono Dressing is also available as an optional paid add-on.
Food Options
Complete your sumo experience with an optional meal.
Choose from Chanko Nabe, the traditional hot pot associated with sumo wrestlers, or Wagyu Sukiyaki. Our Chanko Nabe is inspired by the flavors enjoyed at the sumo stable where our former rikishi once trained.
Karaage, yakitori, takoyaki, and other dishes are also available to order. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available.
