Your amazing day begins with a scenic hour-long drive to the base of the Maderas Volcano. From there, you'll embark on a two-hour hike up the steep, lush slopes to the majestic San Ramón Waterfall. A rewarding and refreshing swim in the waterfall's cool pool is almost obligatory after your trek!

The adventure continues on the Istián River, where you’ll hop into kayaks to paddle through a marshy terrain on the western side of the isthmus between the Maderas and Concepción volcanoes. Keep your eyes peeled! This area is a haven for wildlife—you’re likely to spot a variety of birds, turtles, butterflies, and monkeys.

Your happy finalé concludes by watching the spectacular sunset. We'll head to one of the island's best viewing spots—Punta Jesús María, Playa Mangos, or Playa El Peru—to enjoy the sinking sunlight and clouds paint the sky with vibrant hues of pink, orange, and purple.
