What you can expect

In half a day, explore the American D-Day memorial sites in the Omaha Beach area. Start your exploration at Pointe du Hoc, a German gun battery taken by the American Rangers on the morning of June 6, 1944, before continuing your journey towards Omaha Beach. A first stop at Vierville-sur-Mer will give you the opportunity to learn more about the assault of the 29th U.S. Infantry Division on D-Day. You will continue on to Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer to relive the arrival of the first assault waves of the 1st U.S. Infantry Division against the German defenders. Finally, your tour will end with a visit to the American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer.
